Let’s close out the year with our dollars to help cats.

Thanks to donors like you, The Alice Fund has been able to extend help to young and old applicants with young and old cats. With vaccines and spay/neuter services for kittens, helping acutely ill cats obtain emergency services, and older cats’ senior years comfortable and healthy, we answer the mission of the Fund.

Recently, an emergency cardiac event sent Velcro’s mom to the hospital for three weeks. Her first call was to The Alice Fund. Velcro, a 14 year-old diabetic male, had been home alone for hours. Our partners at PAWright sprang into action, visiting twice each day to check Velcro’s blood sugar levels, feed, and administer insulin. Because of this, Velcro’s owner was able to focus on getting better, knowing Velcro was receiving loving care.

This year, more than 300 cats have received assistance from The Alice Fund, ranging from food and litter to major surgery. With the help of donors like you, cats like Ember, Weezy, Zulu, Purr Bucket, MooMoo, Hissy, Figaro, and Bono have been given the opportunity to live the rest of their nine lives to the fullest. Without your generosity, they would not have received the urgent care needed to survive.

Kathy Calvin, CEO of the United Nations Foundation states, “Giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference.” We know that to be true. As the Tail End of the year approaches, we ask you to help us make a difference. We have generous donors who will match dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 given during our Tail End campaign. Giving now can double your impact—even if you set up a recurring donation. Every dollar counts!

Please visit www.thealicefund.org/donate to make your donation today. Or mail a check to The Alice Fund at 310 Cherokee Boulevard, Chattanooga, TN 37405. Or contact kathy@thealicefund.org for more information or if you’d like to learn about other giving possibilities.

I hope that you will continue to support this important work for our feline friends and those who provide care for them. Your gifts truly make a difference for cats in our community.

In gratitude,
Kathy Allison
